The Madidi national park preserves one of the most important jungle regions in the world, home to 1,865 species of plants and 867 species of birds, 156 species of mammals, 84 species of amphibians, 71 species of reptiles, and 192 species of fish. Many scientists agree that within the park there are many species that have not yet been discovered.

The easiest way to access Madidi National Park is from the city of Rurrenabaque. From this city you can get there by navigating the Beni River and the Tuíchi River.

PROGRAM

1st Day:

Early departure at 8:30 am by 4 x 4 jeep drive to Santa Rosa (three hours ride). Along the way, they will have great opportunities to see sloths, anteaters, birds, and other animals. We will have lunch at the main tourism port in Yacuma river.  Right after, boat trip along the Yacuma river for wildlife watching heading to the lodge. Night boat trip for caimán and alligators night viewing.

2nd Day: 

After breakfast, we will go for the Anaconda searching into the swamps, that will take a couple of hours, then we will return to the eco-lodge for lunch. After lunch siesta time or a short rest, either in their rooms or on the hammocks. Them, you wil be embark on a quest to find a suitable place to swim with the dolphins. Contingent on the time of year you will have a big bird watching.  Dinner and night off.

3rd Day:

Early canoeing for morning bird listening and observation. Sounds of daybreak, including the echoing cries of monkeys and melodious birdsong. Then we return for Breakfast. Righty after,  boat trip for elusive wildlife searching up the Yacuma river (like otters and soths). Lunch and then a ride back to Rurrenabaque Town
