CHACALTAYA / MOON VALLEY
FULL DAY
35 KM from the city of La Paz is the highest ski slope in the world, with a height of 5395 m. From the top of this magnificent mountain you can see the magnificence of the Andes mountain range and the enigmatic landscape of the High Plains.
Due to wind and water erosion over thousands of years the Valley of the Moon was formed; it owes its name to the likeness of a moonscape.
